　　电影《旦后》根据作家黄宁同名小说改编而成，由厦门幕光影业有限公司、福建嗨皮兔影视传媒有限公司、新疆爱森电影制片公司联合出品。《旦后》讲述了上世纪50年代，女主角林波儿随养母到香港艰难营生，依然坚持传承南音，在闽南侨胞的帮助下一举成名，被东南亚影迷誉为“ 一代旦后”的传奇故事。

The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family__APOS__s history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it__APOS__s the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family__APOS__s world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe__APOS__s clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will.  In the summer of 1859, a widowed physician reluctantly agrees to take a recently freed slave and her mysterious Caucasian daughter on a 5-day journey through the bloody West to find a distant town__APOS__s Faith Healer. The woman believes her daughter is possessed. The doctor believes she simply carries The Sickness. Either way the fact remains that every living thing the girl touches mysteriously dies.

　　韦一鸣是一名冷酷无情的杀手，一次，他要杀死一个背叛了老大的人，这个人有一个女儿阿雪，于是，韦一鸣将阿雪托付给了自己的女友阿慧抚养，而他自己则前往美国避避风头。一晃眼十四年过去，黑道的格局早已经改变，帮会早已经成为了老二的天下，而老大的儿子阿杰也常常同老二的儿子阿宗之间擦枪走火。
　　一次，阿宗抓住了阿杰，韦一鸣不得不前往营救，与此同时，不明真相的阿雪深深的爱上了韦一鸣，当她知道韦一鸣其实是自己的杀父仇人后，崩溃的阿雪选择了了结自己的生命，所幸得到了韦一鸣的救助，而阿雪也就此知道了自己的养母和韦一鸣之间的关系。

　　导演克里斯托夫·巴拉蒂继处女作《放牛班的春天》之后再次演绎合唱团的故事， 怀旧的情绪，热情洋溢的人物，竖立起了一座法式平民电影的丰碑，甫一上映，再创票房佳绩。
　　本片发生的背景为1935年至1937年的法国。当时正是法国“人民前线”(popular front)运动高峰时期，法国国际工会(SFIO)第一次带领工人阶级取得了国家的合法政权。在一批社会主义积极分子的领导下，当时的法国社会上上下下开始了一系列的工人权益斗争运动。劳资关系变得空前的紧张。在普遍的罢工和呼吁改革的压力下，许多工人确实得到了福利及待遇的提高。但是，在很多地方，工人的待遇不但没有提高，反而因为工厂的倒闭以及当时的经济大萧条而陷入了更加艰苦的境地。
　　本片的主人公剧院舞台经理辟谷(杰拉尔·朱诺饰演)便是深受打击的一位。而祸不单行的是他的老婆也在这个时候背叛了他，跟着别的男人跑了，只留他和儿子相依为命。谁知，儿子因为上街拉手风琴卖艺，自己指控无抚养能力，儿子也因此被行政机关强制带走。同时，辟谷所在的剧院也被当地的官员查封，他彻底的陷入了绝望的境地。
　　若是辟谷在这个时候选择一死了之故事也就没什么说的了，戏剧性的是他在遭受打击之后并没有选择就此沉沦，相反他重新鼓舞了斗志，并且想要自己组织一场戏剧演出以此来振奋自己的生活。于是他找来了同样已经失业的古怪的歌舞男杰克·杰克特和理想主义的革命青年埃米尔。随后他们开始自己动手修缮了破败的剧院，组织了一群失业青年来共同加入他们。并且还意外的找到了色艺俱佳的女演员杜丝。所有参加这场演出的人都没有收到任何的报酬，可是大家的热情同样十分高涨。因为这场演出，让许多人的生命中重新有了希望。
