接球手间谍

　　10年前，白兰（宋佳 饰）女儿铃铛被绑架并意外身亡，重案组警官陈浩（王千源 饰）许诺孩子母亲一定将凶手绳之以法。无奈经过漫长的追查却一无所获，陈浩带着遗憾离开警队。10年后，陈浩偶然间发现新线索，身患绝症的白兰重拾希望，决心为女寻凶，两人展开调查并发现了罪犯留下的蛛丝马迹。与此同时，李爱军（冯远征 饰）外孙女也遭人绑架，绑架手法跟10年前如出一辙，面对狡猾的嫌犯，陈浩和白兰能否抓到凶手，一偿夙愿…

　　故事发生在1900年的美国南方，瑞吉娜（贝蒂·戴维斯 Bette Davis 饰）和她的兄弟们都以贪婪而著称，他们决定合伙投资一个工厂项目，这个项目可以给他们带来巨额财富，却对当地居民无益甚至是压榨。由于瑞吉娜并没有足够多的钱，于是她将目标放到了自己的丈夫霍勒斯（赫伯特·马歇尔 Herbert Marshall 饰）的身上，派出了二人的独女亚历珊德拉（特雷莎·怀特 Teresa Wright 饰）请回了因重病在外地疗养的霍勒斯。 然而霍勒斯识破了瑞吉娜的用意，拒绝了投资，而她贪婪的兄弟们竟因此铤而走险。

　　爱丽丝（简·方达 Jane Fonda 饰）的丈夫不幸去世，留下了两个孩子要爱丽丝一手拉扯长大，不仅如此，爱丽丝的妹妹和妹夫都失业了，前来投奔姐姐，一家人的生活重担全都落在了爱丽丝的肩上。一天，爱丽丝在一场意外中邂逅了名为斯坦利（罗伯特·德尼罗 Robert De Niro 饰）的男子，斯坦利是工厂里的厨师，但是因为不识字，所以最终遭到了上司的解雇。
　　爱丽丝知道斯坦利是一个非常善良的男人，于是鼓励他学习识字，在此过程中，两人之间的距离慢慢靠近。就在他们终于真情流露之际，斯坦利获得了一个到外地赚大钱的机会，他向爱丽丝允诺，两年后一定会回来找她。

　　The story revolves around a G8 meeting, held at a luxury hotel on the German coast, where the world’s most powerful economists are gathered to enact important provisions that will deeply influence the world economy.
　　One of the guests is a mysterious Italian monk (Servillo), invited by Daniel Rochè (Auteuil), the director of the International Monetary Fund. He wants the monk to receive his confession, that night, in secret. But the next morning, Rochè is found dead.

　　一对爱恋的男女，因时局的动荡而不能在一起。于是女主人公就把一首唐代伟大诗人白居易的《长恨歌》：“在天愿作比翼鸟，在地愿为连理枝。天长地久有时尽，此恨绵绵无绝期。”写在一幅象征“荣华富贵”的牡丹图上一起给了自己心爱的恋人，但他们的爱情故事犹如诗中所描述。“爱到极致便是恨”。时过境迁，“牡丹图”在一次事件中下落不明。多年过去。已是暮年的男主人公带着仅存的记忆和遗憾，跨越时间与空间寻找这幅带着思念与爱的“牡丹图”。然而，人性的贪婪，为他的寻找之旅设下多重关卡…

　　Novelist Joseph Shearing specialized in using real cases which took place in Victorian England, altering them for fictional purposes. MOSS ROSE in 1947 was the first film to be made from his novels, then in 1948 two of his works were adapted for the screen, this film and THE MARK OF CAIN. The movie stars Todd as a recently widowed missionary returning to her home in England from Jamaica. During the voyage, she meets Milland, a charming though dangerous rascal who is wanted by police in connection with some unsavory dealings. Milland contracts malaria while onboard the ship and Todd nurses him back to health. In London, Todd settles into her home, taking in boarders to make ends meet. Milland arrives, moves in, and proclaims his love for her. Todd is thrilled, but it seems rather obvious that Milland is only toying with her. Milland finds some letters written to her by her friend, Fitzgerald, in which Fitzgerald reveals some of her sexual indiscretions. Since Fitzgerald is now married to the wealthy Huntley, Milland believes he can use the letters to blackmail Fitzgerald. Todd__APOS__s love for Milland is so great that she goes along with the plan. Huntley, however, learns of the scheme and also uncovers details of Milland__APOS__s shady past. Fearing for her lover__APOS__s safety, Todd poisons Huntley, then remains silent when Fitzgerald is arrested for the murder. Milland has by now genuinely fallen in love with Todd and the two make plans to leave England. Before they can depart, one of Milland__APOS__s former lovers shows up and Todd, in a jealous rage, kills Milland, then turns herself into the police.
　　This is an intriguing film, although a little on the talky side. The performances are excellent throughout, with Milland shining as the cad, the type of role in which he excelled. Though he spent most of his time making films in the US, he occasionally returned to his native England for a production and this was his first British film since FRENCH WITHOUT TEARS in 1939. Director Allen was also an Englishman who chose to work in the US, this being his first directorial effort in his homeland. This was the fourth and last time Milland and Allen would work together, their pairing having begun in 1944 with the wonderfully eerie THE UNINVITED.
