这部电影仔细研究了2019年造成22人死亡的瓦卡里/怀特岛火山爆发，发自内心地讲述了普通人被要求做不平凡的事情的一天，将这一悲惨事件置于自然、复原力和我们共同的人性力量的更大背景下。

　　《空中浩劫》是一个由加拿大Cineflix制作的空难纪录片节目，其英文原版分别在世界各地的国家地理频道及Discovery频道播出，加拿大魁北克省在Canal D以法文播出，中国中文版则由多个电视台获得其版权。
　　此节目主要介绍1970年代黑匣子发明之后所发生的近代重大航空事故。《空中浩劫》会以模拟演出的方式，分别以乘客、机师等不同人的视角，从一开始旅客登机、起飞，一直到事故发生、后续善后及调查为止，重现事件的整个过程。

本季节目延续第一季的风格与基调，将目光投向全国的秋冬美食大宗，深入顶级食材的原产地，涉足至大海、湖泊、高山、草场，呈现壮阔的自然与一方的水土与物产。通过美食与美酒的搭配，展示不同地域的秋冬时令食材，以及仰赖各方水土的人们多样化的生活。
