老男孩

　　看似普通的这一天，就从清晨开始，卓越照例是雷打不动的晨跑，跑着跑着，身后传来喘气如牛的呼吸和沉重的脚步声，他回头一看，哎唷，这不是大学师妹兼朋友许迟迟吗，她不是宅女吗，不是运动白痴吗，怎么也出来跑步了？许迟迟累得整话也说不出一句，冒着窒息的风险终于吐露明白：“真巧啊，其实我平时也有锻炼的，没想到能碰上师兄你，以后就每天跟你跑吧……”。卓越对迟迟还是略有了解的，他一低身，侧头就贴上了许迟迟的胸口：“不对，许迟迟，你心跳140以上了，声音大得跟过火车似的，平时锻炼过？”迟迟当然是瞎说的，也当然没什么所谓的偶遇巧合，她真就是早有预谋的、故意的、掐准了时间出现在此时此地的！而且，她的背后，还有一堆黑手在出谋划策，卓越被算计了。
　　事情要从昨天晚上说起……卓越跟他的第7个女朋友大吵一架后，终于狠心分手，女友收拾好东西拖着行李箱就搬出了卓越的公寓。卓越心情低落，打电话叫好友大雄出来喝酒聊天，大雄自然要向女友欧阳绿果请假，欧阳绿果正是迟迟的好闺蜜，马上把这个消息通知了暗恋卓越八年的许迟迟：这是你男神感情生活里唯一的一次“空窗期”啊，千载难逢，不抓紧利用，简直就是犯罪，就是对不起你许迟迟二十六年的生命。于是乎，他们就拟定了一个24小时搞定男神的作战计划……

十二岁的海日被妈妈带到内蒙古大草原，偷偷把海日放在牧民阿敏爷爷家不辞而别。小男孩海日突然闯入牧民阿敏爷爷的生活，让他很不适应的同时，又勾起了他对以往生活的留恋。他与海日在一起的生活中，矛盾和摩擦频频出现，同时二人又相互被彼此感动。

　　抗日战争时期，年轻的女考古学家方志珍与父亲方教授同在大学任教，志珍怀着强烈的爱国心决心把失落民间的神医华佗的医著寻找回来。志珍和日本考古学家川多磨在一座古塔中发现两颗明珠，却被也来寻书的德国人干戈一伙抢走，不久，川多磨奉命回国前夕，突然被指令留下寻找华佗医书，并有浪人西协美知子和高城丈二相助。干戈利诱大学教授携手寻书，志珍被他的无耻行径激怒，为尽快找到医书，她们来到漆黑的秘宫，在一颗明珠上找到了线索。她们立即赶到陈教授家，在一幅于禁跪送华佗的画里找到了“开启天门之匙”的字样。干戈随后而至，字迹已被志珍抹去。火车站上，志珍与川多磨相遇。川多磨直言相告，志珍更坚定了保住国宝的决心。她蓦然想起老同学蓝天曾说过家有宝物，是两把“开启天门之匙”。她与川多磨找到蓝天，蓝天慨然相赠，不料干戈的爪牙白痴突然将钥匙抢走，争斗中，白痴摔倒在炉旁石头上，烫热的钥匙在他前额烙下印记。干戈追来再次从志珍手中掠走钥匙。志珍猛然想起白痴额头印记，设计将白痴骗来，用石膏取下钥匙模型。众人拿着配制的钥匙来到黄山山麓，志珍与方教授合力开启了石门。在山洞尽头，众人发现了华佗当年藏书的箱子，可是铁箱是山洞中枢，动一动就会山崩地裂。志珍按照于禁图的指点，奋力抽出铁箱，抛给川多磨，要她迅速离洞。山洞崩裂，众人拼命奔出，而干戈率人已在山下摆阵守候。西协美知子被抓，川多磨搭救未成，西协被凶狠的干戈杀死。护宝激战中，方教授不幸牺牲，志珍等人怒不可遏。一场更为激烈的较量即将展开……

　　电影根据体育历史中著名的传奇真实事件改编，讲述了1972年慕尼黑奥运会篮球决赛中，前苏联篮球队打败了保持了36年全胜纪录的美国队的传奇故事。在决赛结束前三秒钟，美国队以一分优势领先。美国队已经开始提前庆祝比赛的胜利了，因为他们相信比赛结果已成定局。然而，一位来自苏联的不知名篮球教练，率领着艰难、困苦、贫穷中的苏联国家队，比赛结果发生逆转，整个篮球历史也发生了改变。

　　修女莫妮卡与一群年龄各异的牧师共同住在智利海岸边的一所房子里。在每天祈祷和做忏悔之余，他们训练灵缇犬（Greyhound）参加比赛。到底是什么把他们带到了这里，带到这块潮湿粘稠的微风持续吹拂的世界尽头。有一天，新来了一位牧师，但这位新牧师收到了来自他人的严厉指控。那个指控他的声音越来越响，直到它被一声枪响中断。年轻的牧师选择用自杀的方式来回避指控。上头派来了调查员，但这位调查员是不是真的希望查明事情的真相呢？也许他的出现只是希望继续维持着这里美丽的表象。
　　电影一点一点地将黑暗中的秘密揭示出来，挖掘了这些上帝仆人的过往，并无情地揭示了天主教堂里存在的许多矛盾。导演的剧本做到了教堂本身没有做到的事情，他并不是简单的惩罚一个替罪羊。影片实际上严格遵守了基督教中关于殉难的规则和仪式。

　　异装癖表演者班丽娜（Terence Stamp 饰）、米芝（Hugo Weaving 饰）因一位好友去世而再度聚首，米芝得到澳洲中部城市的表演机会邀请班丽娜同往，同行费莉茜（Guy Pearce 饰）为圆“沙漠女王”之梦要求搭伙，并借来了经改装的大巴作为代步工具。三人风风火火的踏上旅程，上了年纪的班丽娜于路对往事讳莫如深，与年轻躁动的费莉茜生出不少琐碎口角，米芝则不时陷入对自己那场婚姻的回忆。他们在沿途经过的小镇大秀妖冶，得到了不少惊愕的目光，当然也有赞许。因为一次抛锚，对班丽娜昔日表演难以忘怀的修理工老巴得以加入他们的旅程。众人终于抵达目的地，虽然观众不甚热情，但米芝终于见到了儿子，而班丽娜决定和老巴在一起……
　　本片获1995年奥斯卡最佳服装设计奖等多项褒奖。

The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family__APOS__s history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it__APOS__s the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family__APOS__s world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe__APOS__s clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 　　One of the guests is a mysterious Italian monk (Servillo), invited by Daniel Rochè (Auteuil), the director of the International Monetary Fund. He wants the monk to receive his confession, that night, in secret. But the next morning, Rochè is found dead.
