　　七十年代轰动中国的纪录片，亿万国人记忆中的奋斗精神！在河南省的最北端，一个被称为林县的名不见经传的小地方因为一条水渠而闻名全国。这条悬崖峭壁上开凿的总长1500公里的大渠，被人们称为人造天河，它叫红旗渠。有一部与这条水渠同名的电影详细记录了当时修建的过程并于1971年在全国播出。红旗渠从1960年开始动工，一修十年，而电影《红旗渠》也跟拍了十年。拍摄这部纪录片的电影人制作了他们电影生涯中耗时最长、投入最多的一部纪录电影。十年间到底有多少人参加了《红旗渠》的摄制已经说不清楚，但在十年中他们共留下了一万多尺胶片。当年，周恩来总理曾自豪地对国际人言说，新中国有两个奇迹：一个是南京长江大桥、一个是林县红旗渠。

　　这部震撼人心的纪录片讲述了一名乐天的流浪汉如何在网上爆红，又如何一落千丈并最终入狱的故事。

Growing up, poverty had deprived Dukale of an education, but he saw an opportunity to create a new future for his family when World Vision offered access to a new kind of economic empowerment. Orry-Kelly was Head of Warner Brothers Costume Department during the richest period of American film, the establishment of the dream factory and its effect on mass culture.
