不在远方

　　Won-sang虽然已大学毕业，但为了储钱只好出国进修，并到了一间出版社工作。出版社社长Yoon-shik已婚多年，仍经常拈花惹草，甚至向Won-sang的女友下手。  随着Won-sang与Yoon-shik接触日多，他对这名社长既尊敬又妒忌。后来Won-sang看上了报社中一名中年女摄影师Sung-yeon。Sung-yeon寂寞多年，亦视Won-sang为她在生命中重燃火花的希望。同时间，Won-sang因为工作需要须不时到Yoon-shik的家，却又搭上了Yoon-shik的妻子

　　看似普通的这一天，就从清晨开始，卓越照例是雷打不动的晨跑，跑着跑着，身后传来喘气如牛的呼吸和沉重的脚步声，他回头一看，哎唷，这不是大学师妹兼朋友许迟迟吗，她不是宅女吗，不是运动白痴吗，怎么也出来跑步了？许迟迟累得整话也说不出一句，冒着窒息的风险终于吐露明白：“真巧啊，其实我平时也有锻炼的，没想到能碰上师兄你，以后就每天跟你跑吧……”。卓越对迟迟还是略有了解的，他一低身，侧头就贴上了许迟迟的胸口：“不对，许迟迟，你心跳140以上了，声音大得跟过火车似的，平时锻炼过？”迟迟当然是瞎说的，也当然没什么所谓的偶遇巧合，她真就是早有预谋的、故意的、掐准了时间出现在此时此地的！而且，她的背后，还有一堆黑手在出谋划策，卓越被算计了。
　　事情要从昨天晚上说起……卓越跟他的第7个女朋友大吵一架后，终于狠心分手，女友收拾好东西拖着行李箱就搬出了卓越的公寓。卓越心情低落，打电话叫好友大雄出来喝酒聊天，大雄自然要向女友欧阳绿果请假，欧阳绿果正是迟迟的好闺蜜，马上把这个消息通知了暗恋卓越八年的许迟迟：这是你男神感情生活里唯一的一次“空窗期”啊，千载难逢，不抓紧利用，简直就是犯罪，就是对不起你许迟迟二十六年的生命。于是乎，他们就拟定了一个24小时搞定男神的作战计划……

　　十三年前良商沈岩被传家族有24缸宝藏，土匪为财一夜屠灭沈家庄，缝头师孙财承沈岩荒年救命的恩情为全村缝头补尸，十三年后为花钱赎入狱的儿子，孙财打起沈家24缸宝藏的主意，特意攒局找来黑心富商，戏班台柱、骗人半仙、流民痞子五人自此形成恶人帮。几人寻宝藏途中伴随着各种诡异事件。但此行本是缝头师孙财设下的阴谋，五人都曾是十三年前血案中的局中人。几个人究竟在当年屠杀惨案中扮演着什么身份？土匪抢劫血洗村庄究竟还有什么隐情？

　　杰夫（库尔特·拉塞尔 Kurt Russell 饰）和艾米（凯瑟琳·奎南 Kathleen Quinlan 饰）是一对夫妻，在一次长途旅行之中，两人驾驶的车辆在荒郊野岭里抛锚了。正当两人急得焦头烂额之际，一个名叫瑞德（J·T·沃尔什 J.T. Walsh 饰）的陌生男人出现在了他们面前。瑞德好心的告诉杰夫和艾米，在不远处有地方能够叫到拖车，杰夫边让艾米跟随瑞德前往，很快，这个错误的决定就让杰夫付出了代价。
　　在等待拖车的过程中，杰夫自己修好了车，于是，他决定驱车前往瑞德所说的那个地方寻找瑞德和艾米。没想到，当杰夫到达后，当地没有一个人声称见过艾米。杰夫找到瑞德向其质问，瑞德竟然说自己不认识杰夫，更别提什么艾米了。敏感的杰夫察觉事情有诈，他想向警方求助可手上没有任何证据，一时间，杰夫陷入了绝望的境地。

　　1990年代，某城市。歌手阿兰（何晴 饰）对当下流行音乐有着独到的体悟和见解，她渴望在演出中张扬自己的个性，唱出自己的风格。但签约公司对她的发展前景与包装理念与她本人的想法格格不入，令她十分纠结。阿兰的男友江伦（胡军 饰）要求她顺应公司的安排，不要标新立异，更使她感觉苦恼。一个偶然的机会，阿兰邂逅某广告公司许宁（李亚鹏 饰），俩人顿感有似曾相识的感觉。许宁帅气豁达谈吐优雅，他了解阿兰苦衷后，耐心向她讲述了守桥将士的英勇壮举和义薄云天的感人故事。阿兰出神的听着，被许宁的讲述完全打动了。她应邀去部队为战士们演出，感到自己的艺术才华得到了最大程度的量化......

　　Howard Hughes（Leonardo DiCaprio 饰）出生于美国德州休士顿，18岁时，他继承父亲德州油井的财富，心怀电影梦想移居好莱坞。1926年他买入125家戏院的控制权，砸下数百万美金拍了实景空战史诗电影《地狱天使》，成为著名的制片人；1939年，他入主环球航空公司，他迅速使公司扭亏为盈，二战期间与美国军方合作，主持了蓝云杉飞机的发明和改进。
　　Howard Hughes在事业上取得巨大成功的同时，他也饱受了忧郁症和精神官能强迫症的折磨；他的感情生活波折重重，Katharine Hepburn（Cate Blanchett 饰）、Ava Gardner（Kate Beckinsale 饰）先后离开他，让他备受打击。
　　影片选取Howard Hughes重要的生活事件，真实地再现了他的传奇。

　　雷艾（Chhabi Biswas 饰）出生于富贵之家中，世世代代都是坐拥着土地的地主阶级，雷艾自然继承了家族的财产，可是，他的心思却并不在好好经营这份财产之上。雷艾对音乐有着狂热的喜爱，常常斥巨资举办音乐会，请来大师名流进行演奏。就这样，上一代积攒下来的财富就在雷艾的一次又一次挥霍中越来越少。
　　马兴（Gangapada Basu 饰）是雷艾的死对头，他同样是一名音乐爱好者，两人互相攀比音乐会的排场，互相质疑彼此对于音乐的品味。为了战胜马兴，雷艾不顾拮据的经济状况大肆挥霍，甚至为了满足自己的虚荣而付出了家人的性命作为代价。最终，雷艾家破人亡，濒临疯狂的他在散尽了最后一笔钱后选择了死亡。

　　《谁能阻挡我们》呼吁改变我们对青少年的看法；我们对那些出生于21世纪初、最近才成年的人的看法；那些现在看来对一切都抱有愧疚的人，他们亲眼看到了自己的希望破灭。这部介于纪录片、小说和纯粹的证据记录之间的电影让年轻的青少年展示了他们真正的样子，我们很少看到的样子，或者他们让我们看到的样子：利用电影镜头展示他们最好的一面，重新赢得我们对未来的信任；从脆弱和情感出发，带着幽默、智慧、信念和想法。因为向我们讲述爱情、友谊、政治或教育的年轻人，不仅是在讲他们自己，而且也是在对任何年龄段的我们始终重要的事情。《谁能阻挡我们》是一部关于我们自己的电影：关于我们的过去、现在和将来。

The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family__APOS__s history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it__APOS__s the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family__APOS__s world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe__APOS__s clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will.
