　　新的生活开始了，尽管她们有着为祖国飞行事业献身的决心，但要飞上天，还得要有坚强的毅力，付出艰苦的劳动。教她们飞行的教员郭华翔，是从国民党空军解放入伍的，曾在美国留过学。在党的教育下，他虽然努力追求进步，可是在教学思想上，洋教条洋框框很多，不能联系实际，他讲课，学生越听越糊涂。校党委为了加强教学工作，又调来杨德。杨德是共产党员，工农干部，是林雪征在朝鲜战场上的战友。他从陆军调来学习飞行，积累了一些经验。起初，他对女学员能否成为一名坚强的空军战士有怀疑。但他怀着深厚的阶级感情，想方设法，联系实际，采用容易被学员理解和掌握的实物教学方法，提高了学员的学习能力。林雪征和杨巧妹文化水平低，在学习航空理论时遇到了困难。在飞行训练中，林雪征又因腿部负过伤，在飞机着陆时产生了“左偏”难点，面临被淘汰的可能。项菲虽然文化水平高，理论学习较好，但由于她受了资产阶级思想的影响，在学习中碰到困难时，表现得不坚强。艰苦的思想改造和体质锻炼考验着她们每一个人。为了使她们树立起坚强的革命世界观，王政委坚定地运用毛泽东思想，针对每个人的不同情况，给予不同的教育和帮助，从而使她们增强了信心。林雪征以不怕苦、不怕牺牲的革命精神，顽强地练腿功，终于克服了“左偏”难点。杨巧妹也以强烈的阶级感情，从《愚公移山》等毛主席著作中，找到了攻克理论难点的力量。她不分昼夜地勤学苦练基本功，因而在第一次放单飞时，取得了优异成绩。项菲虽在第一次放单飞没合格，加之男朋友的影响，动摇了事业心，想离开部队，但她在党的教育和集体的关怀帮助下，批判了自己的资产阶级人生观，树立了全心全意为人民服务的思想，最后也飞上了蓝天。

　　Killian is a young man who has never left the remote mountains of Huesca (Spain) which saw him grow up. In 1953, he travels back to the exotic Equatorial African island of Fernando Poo, in Spanish Guinee, where he was born, to work in a cacao plantation alongside his father and his brother. During 20 years in this island, until the troubled days of independence, he will undertake a journey towards maturity and knowledge, but will also have to deal with pain and loss.

　　Drawing heavily on the poignant novel by Jules Renard on which it is based, Poil de carotte is a modest yet appealing film which has stood the test of time mainly because of the quality of its acting performances and its inherent humanity. It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier__APOS__s earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte.
　　The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944.  Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance.  The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.

　　The famous writer Bernard travels to a small town nearby a lake to spend vacation out of season in the winter. He check in an old hotel owned by Enrico and his daughter Irma expecting to meet the maid Tilde, from whom he had a crush last time he visited the town. However, he discovers that Tilde has committed suicide and when he meets the local photographer, Bernard learns that she was pregnant. He becomes obsessed to find whether she really committed suicide and to guess what really happened. When Enrico__APOS__s son Mario and his wife Adriana arrive at the hotel, Bernard has daydreams about the fate of Tilde.

　　The play tells the story of a young couple, Cathy (played by Carol White) and Reg (Ray Brooks). Initially their relationship flourishes and they have a child and move into a modern home. When Reg is injured and loses his well-paid job, they are evicted by bailiffs, and they face a life of poverty and unemployment, illegally squatting in empty houses and staying in shelters. Finally, Cathy has her children taken away by social services.

　　繁忙的工厂里，工人们埋头工作。布尔什维克党在地下积极组织工人罢工，但表面上仍然一片平静……工厂里的一把工具失窃，当值工人被厂主调查侮辱，气忿不过的工人回到车间，上吊自杀。工人们与厂主爆发了冲突，工人冲出工厂，打倒工头，联络其他工厂的同志，一场大规模的罢工启动了。
　　工厂主与工人们的谈判陷入僵持，失去生活来源的工人们忍饥挨饿，工厂主又雇佣侦探抓捕工人领导、借助流氓势力破坏工人组织。在水龙和骑警的驱逐下，工人们四处奔逃，最终遭到血腥屠杀……

　　马格兰有着令人羡慕的生活，在她第二次怀孕，快当母亲的时间里，一切都在悄悄发生着变化。生完孩子后，马格兰的情绪日益失去控制，甚至出现了自杀倾向，大夫告诉马格兰的丈夫，她可能患了精神分裂症。为了减轻痛苦，马格兰开始转向镇定药和酒精……

　　A most pleasingly atmospheric rendition of the tale, noirishly photographed and moodily set, this is the version which probably would have delighted Conan Doyle the most. There is one important plot change which enables the beautiful Alice Brandt to enjoy both a larger role and a more intriguing part in the proceedings. This change also builds up the parts of Dr Mortimer and Lord Charles, yet at the same time provides a nice introduction to the is-he-sinister or is-he-a-good-guy Barrymore, deftly played here by Fritz Rasp.
　　Despite the sting of its well-developed story, the spellbindingly atmospheric direction and the engrossing performances delivered by the entire cast, many fans may find this version somewhat disappointing. For at least three reasons: As in the novel, the part played in the narrative by Sherlock Holmes, though vital, is minimal. And in this version, not only has no attempt been made to enlarge his role, if anything both writer and director do their best to minimize it. Holmes does not even make his entrance for half-an-hour, and when he does finally appear, he has his back to the camera. It is Fritz Odemar, as Dr Watson, who receives the more favorable camera angles. And there is a purpose in this. It is Watson, not Holmes, who figures as the main protagonist of The Hound of the Baskervilles. For the bulk of the narrative, Holmes disappears. It is Watson and Lord Henry (Peter Voss) who take up the running. The movie is almost over, before Holmes closes in on the villain. And even so, this is not the obsessed, self-important Holmes we are accustomed to see taking charge. Another problem is that the title hound itself does not figure a great deal in the action, a downgrading which will undoubtedly rate as another major disappointment for fans. And finally, it could be argued that the script gives too much attention to Conan Doyle__APOS__s red herring, the escaped convict, and not enough to the real villain.
　　This said, it must surely be admitted by all, that Odemar__APOS__s interpretation of Watson—intelligent, charming, level-headed, courageous and resourceful—is much closer to Conan Doyle__APOS__s conception than either the bungling, inveterately stupid Nigel Bruce or the self-effacing Ian Fleming.
　　One other player deserves special mention: Erich Ponto (Dr Winkel in The Third Man) who seems exactly right for Stapleton. A difficult part, superbly played.

　　The history of Danish country church architecture is told by showing scenes of how the church was used by the congregation, beginning with the celebration of mass in a small and simple wooden church 800 years ago, and ending with the congregation singing in a village church of to-day. The development and the growth of the pattern of church architecture is shown.
　　Dreyer in this film shows a series of churches from different periods with churchgoers in period clothing. Each period is separated by a shot of a church bell double-exposed on the sky. Although the film has a vibrant and instructive way of communicating the different epochs and styles to students, it does not exhibit the artistic quality that usually distinguishes a Dreyer film, except perhaps in some of the costumes, which were originally made for Day of Wrath.
　　The board of Dansk Kulturfilm in autumn 1945 decided that their planned church film would exclusively be about village churches. Dreyer would rework the script that was written by editor and folk high-school principal Bernhard Jensen, aided by a committee of experts consisting of architect H. Lønborg-Jensen and Victor Hermansen, curator at the National Museum of Denmark. Dreyer had a first draft ready in mid-March, entitled Kirken er et gammelt Hus (__QUOTE__The Church Is an Old House__QUOTE__), which was distributed to the members of the committee for their comments.
　　In the last half of July, Dreyer and Victor Hermansen travelled the country to look at suitable churches. They researched the details and at Dreyer’s request a number of technical changes were made to the churches, including the removal of porcelain holders for electrical wiring in Tveje Merløse Church.
　　On 4 July, Dreyer went in advance to Ringkøbing. Shooting was set to start a few days later with the arrival of the director of photography, Preben Frank, who had fallen off a ladder and broken his leg, Fortunately, he was ready to cautiously start working again within a few days, with his leg in a cast.
　　Otherwise, the production went without a glitch. Everywhere, Dreyer said, they were well received at the vicarages and they had no problem getting enough extras. On 1 august, they returned to Copenhagen with almost all their footage in the can. They only needed to film the church in Skelby, where the weather had been against them, plus a Swedish wooden church in Hedared. The economy was distressed so soon after the war, especially when it came to foreign currency, but there were no real wooden churches left in Denmark and building an interior set in the studio would be too expensive.
　　The finished film was shown for the first time on 24 September 1947 to a small, closed circle, which included the Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs. In December 1947, as was Dansk Kulturfilm’s standard practice, the film was presented to the press, politicians and others on a programme with four other short films.
